BRAND INFORMATION2020untainted is a luxury upcycled clothing studio located in Berlin, Germany. Their designs incorporate previously worn textiles, which are then recycled and treated in order to become new clothing and accessories.MY ROLEAs a studio intern, I worked alongside the owner, Sophia Wameling in assisting in day to day studio operations. I was responsible for taking product photos for the brands website, as well as planning, designing, and assisting in the textile manufacturing and assembly.Our main objective was to plan, upcycle, and create 2020untainted's summer 2022 clothing line. This involved being a part of the entire sustainable fashion process, I was tasked with sourcing and selecting textiles for the pieces, and then treating and prepping the fabric to be used. I assisted in the planning, design, and sewing of the pieces created for the summer launch, that would be sold on her online website. 
Pictured above: wearex x 2020untainted collaborationWe also had the opportunity to collaborate with the brand wearex, a textile sourcing platform for upcycling brands in Berlin. They work to make upcycling more accessible for designers, and act as a platform to source raw textile materials from. We participated in their first cycle of designs, and used the materials sourced from wearex to create a capsule clothing line to be sold at their launch.
