PROJECT BRIEF

The Health Design Framework is aimed at fellow designers to incorpotate into their design process. It builds a foundation on which they can approach ideation, health aids, and health-adjacent products and services through a human-centered lens, while focusing on methods that actively work against stigmatization of user's health and health-related needs. The focal point of the framework is centered on  the intended end users, prioritizing desirable product and service solutions that promote ease of use, desirability,  and satisfaction, which can, and should, be personalized to work with a variety   of abilities.

Emphasizing the importance of a design that allows for the further extension of a life cycle of a product in a user's space, through the possibility of adapting to a user's change in ability, was central to our guideline development process. We intend the use of this framework to benefit all possible end user's lives, through the seamless integration of products and services developed using these guidelines, into their homes, routines, and daily health.
